Rehabilitating a Severely Degraded Creek System

The precinct’s creek system was in poor condition and required significant restoration, including the need for fish passages to rehabilitate the fish. Our team secured the required fisheries permits and used in‑house design and construction capability to deliver fish ladders, baffles and a new causeway, restoring environmental function and supporting the long‑term health of the unique fish species in the creek.

Delivering Community Amenities That Meet Local Needs and Boost Tourism

Consultation with the local community identified the need to encourage passing traffic to stop, visit the shops and use the local amenities. Guided by community consultation, our team carried out site restoration, installed new irrigation and stormwater systems, landscaping, a new car park, playground equipment, benches and Softfall surfaces, creating an inviting precinct that enhances liveability and supports local economic activity.
